Collaborator v8.2 is here!
SmartBear Software is pleased to announce the release of Collaborator 8.2, a new version with several exciting enhancements, including:
Excel support. In addition to enabling you to review code and documents, Collaborator now includes the ability to review Excel spreadsheets. With it, you can quickly identify what has changed between two versions of a file. You can also easily switch from viewing the values in a cell to the formula behind it (if it has one).
Checklists. We’ve heard from you the need to use checklists as reminders during a review; now Collaborator includes it. Simply create the checklist, attach it to a template you use for a review, and your reviewers can check off items. You can even make the checklist completion mandatory before a review can complete.
Electronic signature changes. Collaborator’s electronic signature functionality now meets most regulations for eSignature by prompting users to re-enter their user name and password for each signature and documenting the date and time each signature is made.
Custom fields mandatory by phase. Now you can set the phase by which custom fields must be completed.
Additional Git and IBM Rational Team Concert Integration.
