Hi Richard,
What paths does the "exclude standard source files" setting include and how can it be changed?
Let me quote the "General Preferences Dialog" (http://support.smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/18018/) help topic:
Exclude standard source files - Specifies whether to profile source files, classes and routines of standard native-code libraries that are embedded into the application by IDEs. For example, in Borland Delphi applications, these are the System, Sysutils, Classes, Controls and some other units. The units are filtered by their paths (Microsoft Visual Studio), or by their names (Borland Delphi, C++Builder, Microsoft Visual C++). This option can also be toggled using the Exclude Standard Source Files button on the Setup panel’s toolbar.
As for excluding your code from profiling, I recommend that you go through the "Excluding Code From Profiling" (http://support.smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/17685/) and "Controlling What to Profile" (http://support.smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/17905/) help topics for an overview of AQtime abilities in this area.
