AutoCAD gives First chance exception during Allocation Profiler testrun

Hi we are using AQTime Pro version 7.10.380.86 and we try to analyze a .Net application by Allocation Profiler. We are interested in the memory related behavior.

Our applicaton is a plugin dll in AutoCAD. So the hostapplication is AutoCAD 2009.

We are not able to get relevant information doing a testrun of this situation.

Observations:

AQTime starts AutoCAD 2009, during this process an exception occurs. Reading the EventView:

“First chance exception 0xC0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at 0x63243ED2, read of address 0x000000B at 0x63243ED2 (in c:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2009\acdb17.dll)”

Then follows

Allocation Profiler results have been generated

Then a Second chance exception occurs

“Second chance exception 0xC0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at 0x63243ED2, read of address 0x000000B at 0x63243ED2 (in c:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2009\acdb17.dll)”

Then AQTime stops with this testrun.

The acdb17.dll is part of AutoCAD 2009. So we did not get any results about our own dll.

I hoop that you can help me to find a solution.

    Hello Willi,

Please try using our AQtime Troubleshooter to investigate the application crash.

BTW, I suggest that you install the latest version of AQtime.
