Request to Enable CORS for API Access

Dear SmartBear,

I am writing to request your assistance in enabling Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) for our API endpoints. We have encountered an issue where browser security mechanisms are blocking requests to our API because the origin of these requests has not been declared as safe on your side.

Issue Description: Our web applications are unable to communicate with the API when triggered from the browser due to the lack of CORS headers in the API responses. This prevents the browser from accepting responses originating from our domains. 

Requested Action: Could you please configure our origin URLs to be accepted by the API? This change would involve adding our domain(s) to the list of allowed origins on your server to ensure that the necessary CORS headers are included in the API responses.

Affected Domains:

  • *.wiliot.com
  • *.gcp.wiliot.cloud
  • localhost

We anticipate that this adjustment will allow our frontend applications to interact seamlessly with the API, as they currently do through environments like Postman, where CORS is not a concern.
