Using soapUI for testing incompatibility side effects of refactoring
Hi Folks
I am investigating service incompatibility side effects of refactoring for my dissertation. At the moment I am trying to put a small WSDL SOAP web service together against which I can run some test to see what the effect of certain refactorings would be.
I think I can use soapUI for the tests, but I'm going to need a bit (or maybe a lot) of help from someone with much more soapUI experience than me. I'm also quite strapped for time because I have only a month to spend on my experiment.
I want to test things like throughput, latency, execution time, transaction time, scalability, overhead and resilience.
Do you guys think soapUI is the appropriate tool for this?
Kind Regards
Jannetta
