type of bugs in reliable messaging

I am testing a service that is enabled with WS-ReliableMessaging at the server side.

I am able to directly invoke it without any client-side configuration as shown in WS-RM tutorial.

I have two doubts:

1. Is WS-ReliableMessage settings optional on the client side?

2. Generally, what are some of the examples of bugs found by enabling it on the client side?

Please give some related info, if not a direct response.

Thank you.

  • The Server needs to be set to require WS-Reliable Messaging, otherwise, it will still allow requests to pass through even without a sequence. The WS-RM support is there mainly to be used with services that require WS-RM, and to test the basice WS-RM support of such services.
