Tell soapui to kick off another application for web app testing

I was wondering if it is possible for soapui to kick off another application (like selenium) at the end of it's testing. The business wants to kick off the testing from an application & validate the final result into another application (data flow). I can do that in soapUI & validate the database but they want to validate the application as well.

Can this be done? Any hacks?
