soapui mock service validate request

Hi all,

A result of one of my soapui test cases causes the application under test to send a request to another system.
I have setup mock services of the other system. I would like to assert/verify the request sent to the mock services. Xpath verification of the generated request would be ideal. Can somebody please describe what my options are and provide some sample code? Thanks in advance.
