SoapUI Java API examples

Hello,

I'm new to the SoapUI Java API and I'm confused with where I need to start. My task involves capturing the return event from a mock service call and adding some additional functionality there. Is there any sample code and/or documentation available? I haven't been able to find anything obvious when searching.
