SoapUI 5.2.1 locks up randomly when executing soap test cases

I am running SoapUI 5.2.1 on Ubuntu 15.10 64bit with the following JVM

 

java version "1.7.0_80"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_80-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.80-b11, mixed mode)

 

This also used to happen on earlier 5.x versions of SoapUI on same OS

 

It only ever seems to happen if I execute more than one test case in a test suite.  If I execute the test suite as a whole it does not happen.

 

Please find attached a thread dump which shows a BLOCKED thread to do with updating a text field

 

I have also tried running this with OpenJDK and Oracle JDK 8 with the same result.

    I too just had this happen to me.  I've attached my thread dump as well.

     

    This has been a problem for quite awhile.  Is there anyway we can get this escalated and resolved ?
