SOAP/JMS based mock services

Hi

I have been using SOAPUI to create SOAP/HTTP based mock services. I now have a requirement to create a SOAP/JMS based mock service in SOAP UI.

I am aware that we can have achieve a similar solution by using test steps which listen/respond on queues. However, my requirement is to deploy these JMS based mock services on Websphere Application server.

Any body aware of such solution in SoapUI or SoapUI Pro version?

Thanks

  • Hi,

thanks for your interest; unfortunately soapUI does not support "real" JMS Mock Services as for now, the suggested interim solution will hopefully suffice as a workaround for now.

    best regards,

    Hi Ole

    Thanks for your reply.
The suggested workaround will work fine if the mocks are running in SOAP UI. My understanding is that these mocks(test cases/test steps) can not be deployed on application server like the real mock services. Can you please comment if this is the right assumption or if there is an alternate way of hosting test cases outside SOAP UI?

  • Hi guys,
Do you have any update on this topic? Is the JMS Mock part of the SoapUI roadmap?

Do you know a simple code overriding the HTTP based dispatching with JMS using i.e. SoapUI SDK?

    Thanks,
