Soap UI 4.0 with Sun JDK 7 - Socket Exception

Hi,

I am writing a wsdl service with ibm jdk 6 and was testing with SOAP UI 4.0 and it worked fine.Also was using Tomcat 5.5 version. But when i upgraded my java version to 7 and to JBOss as server i am getting Socket exception. I am not even able to connect to the service.

Then i upgraded soap UI to 4.5 then everything seems to be working fine.

Any clues why the issue with sun jdk 7 with JBoss?

    Thank you for sharing your findings regarding the version compatibility of jdk with soapui. Are you ok with soapui 4.5 with the intended jdk version you are looking for?

    Yes in 4.5 its working fine. But is there a known reason for this issue? I am assuming that the clients should not be jvm centric. It should be compactable.

    Well, am not aware of known reason, will let soapui team take that.
    By the way, what version of Jboss are you using jdk7?
