Simulating timeout from the Client

Question

Hi,My apologies if this has already been answered but I couldn't find any posts on the subject.I want to simulate HTTP timeouts for my Web Service. Basically I want the client to do the request painfully slow so that my web service finally gets a timeout and goes into error handling.When googling here and on the internet I mostly find cases of where you want to do it the other way, getting a timeout in the client.Any tips on how to achieve this in SoapUI?Thanks!

If you are a SoapUI Pro user this can be achieved by the setting the code snippet below in the RequestFilter.afterRequest event handler.

Thread.currentThread().sleep(1000) //will sleep for 1000 miliseconds i.e 1 second.
