Sharing projects – what to do about credentials
We occasionally share project files. One of the problems is that your credentials (the ones entered in the Aut tab) are stored clear text in the project file. Yes, I know we can encrypt the project.
How do you handle sharing projects? Do you encrypt the projects? Do you not store the credentials and therefore have to remember to remove them before you save the project?
Any thoughts / recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Finally, has any thought been given to just storing the passwords encrypted in the project file? This seems like the best answer.
