Require Windows 7 Machine Specification for Load Testing
Could anyone please guide on the memory (RAM) and CPU requirement for a Windows 7 PC if I would like to run a load test using soapUI with maximum of 5000-6000 threads from a single PC?

However the rule of thumb here is the more - the better!
Regarding the threads question I'm afraid there isn't an easy answer here. It all depends on what the threads are attempting to do.
Given a delay between the threads due to settings or systems specs will affect the outcome of the load test.
Almost any computer can theoretically do it but it might not give the result you're expecting.
Having a good computer is always good but kind of hard to define.. But the rule of thumb applies!
However if you're interested in load testing LoadUI is the way to go.
