Read time out exception is seen in Soap UI pro

Hi,
Our server manages nearly 1000 devices and each device has the statistics, to retrieve those data we are using API's in Soap UI tool. we have 21 API's  for single device, if we request the api's using soap UI Pro tool, we are facing read time out exception.
can you help us here...

    Hi,

    read timeout is usually because the server doesn't reply within the default timeout period, try changing this to a higher value or to 0 (which will wait indefinitely) in the global http preferences..!?
