Re: soap ui 3.6.1 and 4.0.1 different behaviour with ssl?

I am trying to upgrade from soap ui 3.6.1 to 4.0.1. To make use of some of the new features. My tests currently consist of http requests for testing API calls. When running within 3.6.1, these test run without problem. When running from 4.0.1 some of my tests steps seem never seem to complete and require user to stop action manually. The API call in question is attempting to register a user and using SSL. Is there any new prerequisites when dealing with SSL requests in the lastest version of soap ui? I have looked at documentation around ssl and this mentioned the ssl settings in soap ui system preferences. i.e. keystore etc, but this is not currently being used in either version of soap UI. My understanding is this setting is for use when implementing mock services! Would I still need it when running tests with a valid ssl certificate on the server?

I have tried version 4 under Mac OSX 10.6.8 and Windows XP(within a vm) and both have the same outcome.

Any help would be much appreciated and this problem with prevent us from upgrading.
