Query on Update Definition

1) I have trying to update WSDL definitions with below two options. It is regenerate existing requests using the new schema and create optional elements.



2) After that I have added data for optional elements & mandatory elements in one of the request. Again updated WSDL definition with above two options. Still data is existing in the optional elements & mandatory elements.

Is it expected behavior in SOAP UI?
