Parsing http errors(connection refused)

Hello,

I am trying to write a script that would change the endpoint, whenever the suite returns ERROR:org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException: Connection to http://dot.com refused, though i have no clue how do i parse the message from the exception. Thanks in advance for any tips given
