New Mac install: Multi-panes in main window

I've just installed the 4.0.0 SoapUI on OS X 10.6.8. Things look fine after initial startup and wsdl load, but after double clicking on the bindings, the main window gets painted, but doesn't work. After scrolling the window, it's repainted with the original graphics.
