Mock service error - javax.net.ssl.SSLException

Hi - I tried to setup a mock service for a request and got it working without the SSL. Further, I created the .keystore as guided in http://www.soapui.org/Service-Mocking/s ... h-ssl.html and enabled SSL in global preferences. The request with https:// endpoint is now receiving an error "2011-04-01 05:55:54 - Error getting response; javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?" . though the SSL is enabled and the mock shows up https:// endpoint, when i invoke the request from soapui using http:// it looks working.

PS: a couple of days back i gave it a try to secure the mock service and it worked. Apparently, i had to change the .keystore due to some reason and from then, it seems to be a problem. I also tried to create the keystore afresh and associate with SOAPUI. Still seeing the same response.

any idea on the error?
