Missing token error in assertion

Hello,

When I insert the XML response as it is in the content textbox of "contains" assertion, I get the missing token error and the assertion fails. Any idea about this? Is it something to do with the XML tags <> and other special characters?

    Hello,

    The ContainsAssertion, which is very simple, should be able to match XML. However, note that the check is performed ont he RAW response, and whitespace does matter. If you are looking at the XML viewer and copying text from there it may contain other whitespace than the actual raw response does, and thus fail.
