loading definitions loads forever

when I create a new project and add a WDSL it keeps loading definitions forever. the WSDL file is at http://localhost:8080/testService/servi ... rvice?wsdl. this part loads, but when it tries to load http://www.w3.org/2009/01/xml.xsd. it keeps loading forever.
I have tried this in soapUI 3.5.1, 3.6 Beta2 end 2.5.1
I am not behind a proxy...
