java.null pointer exception for jdbc datasource

Hi,
I upgraded to soap 3.5 pro and am getting back a null pointer exception when I try to perform a select * from . I noticed that some of the columns are blank in my oracle database and when I populate them I do not get this exception. Is there a setting I have to use or modify my properties/query.

    Hi Frank,

    Is this happening for JdbcRequestTestStep or for Jdbc DataSource TestStep?  Are blank columns of some specific type? Does the same happen when you list those columns in a query, for instance select col1, col2 from table for empty columns ?
