facing the error "The JVM could not be started. maximum heap size (-XMX) too large".

I tried resolving this issue by reducing the size to 512 in .vmoptions file but still facing the error. One of the ways to resolve this error is i can run soap ui as admin. Is this the only way to solve this issue?

    I had faced the same problem..after changing the ReadyAPI-1.3.1.vmoptions file inside bin folder (maximum heap size=500m) ,my problem resolved.

    eg-

    -Xms128m
    -Xmx500m
