Default or Remember UI choices?

Hi,

Try File -> Preferences -> Editor Settings and check Tabbed request view. This should allow the requests to be viewed maximized instead of split panels.

Thanks, that will at least help.

Any other settings for the other items? Or existing feature requests I can follow/vote for?

Also, it seems my request parameters keep getting sorted into a different order than I left them/want them. Is that something else I can control?

Our bug tracking/feature request system is internal. However if you have a feature you would like to see in SoapUI you can post in the SoapUI feature request forum or in the SoapUI Pro feature request forum if you are a pro user.

The order of method parameters for a REST request can be changed with the up and down arrow if you click on the method name under the REST interface. Then reopen the request and the parameters should be changed.

But each time I re-open, they're re-ordered.

And individual message parameter order does not match the resource parameter order.

This is a known issue (SOAP-679).

I believe, this will get fixed in the next release.
