DataSource step not working from comandline

When I execute test cases containing the DataSource step from commandline they are not executing (i.e not reading the data from excel file and passing onto the properties).
The same test cases execute from the SoapUI IDE!
Are there any examples of how to do this from commandline either using testRunner OR via the SoapUI API?
