check email as part of test

Is there example of checking email from soapUI?  I saw yahoo mail has web services api, but don't know how the authentication works.  Which mail provider (yahoo, hotmail, gmail or outlook) would be easier to do this checking?  The test suppose trigger email sent to an account so it would be great to check if the email has been received.
