Can't disable 'Use native Look & Feel' setting on Mac

I'm using SoapUI on Mac. And, trying to disable the 'Use native Look & Feel' setting.

However, after exit and start the SoapUI, the setting is always enabled.

Can someone explain what is happening here?

 

 

I'd like to try tabbed window UI, instead of floating sub windows.

    May be this is a kind of little hack.

    Have a backup of your soapui-settings.xml file before proceeding.

    Open the soapui-settings.xml file in your favourite editor.
    Look for "UISettings" and try add below to the below in the right location, so that file gets parsed correctly. And try to restart the soapui.

    <con:setting id="UISettings@native-laf">false</con:setting>

      Thanks for reply.

      But, it didn't help. The setting will be true after restarting the SoapUI.

      In SoapUI log, I could see the following message.

      Fri Mar 17 09:12:53 EDT 2017:INFO:Defaulting to native L&F for Mac OS X
