Can we access an external database using SOPAUI

Question

Hi friends,&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; We got a scenario where we are asked to do the database validation using an UI which connects to the databases and check for the data. What i need to ask is is it possible to connect the external database from the local system using SOAP UI . If so how can we do that .Thanks G.AnandKiran

Hi,sure, create a groovy-script step in your testcase that accesses the database using standard Groovy SQL features (http://groovy.codehaus.org/Database+features). Be sure to put the jdbc driver in your soapui\bin\ext folder.regards!/Oleeviware.com
