Can Soap UI work without internet connection?

Will SoapUI work without internet connection? I have a requirement to use soap UI from a machine that does not have internet connection to test webservices that are hosted on the company's LAN. I have modified the WSDLs and XSDs to use the schemas from the current directory. Are there any settings to make soap ui pick the local xsds and wsdl? I imported the wsdl from a local folder that has all the schemas, but the WSDL doesn't load, it just hangs. Even if I make the WSDL and XSDs to be used from local machine, does SOAP UI still look for www.w3.org looking for other default schemas and always requires internet connection? Any help is highly appreciated.
