Build Numbers reference in SOAPUI/SOAPUI Pro
Hey Guys, given how regularly you add new changes/fixes in your builds, and given how often you recommend people upgrade to the nightly - it would really be advantageous to have build numbers in the installer file names & also on the SOAPUI splash screen. This makes managing versions much easier when trying to share test responsibilities within a team.
In the last 6 weeks I have downloaded 9 versions of SOAPUI/SOAPUI Pro - While I don't necessarily agree with such a development/release model I respect it is how you guys deliver and would only ask that you help those consuming your products to manage their own delivery processes.
As I go for my 10th download in 6 weeks I find it annoying that I have to manage naming of your installers if I want to manage test harness consistency across my team.
I'm guessing your build scripts could write something into the splash screen and just as easily write the installer name to contain the same.
Pretty please?! It'd make your current release process so much easier to consume.
