Access to RAW response

I know the topic was discussed, but I'm having problems with making it working.
I have a request in my test case, that is calling a service that returns a SAML token. The raw view shows the whole envelope as a sinle line. I need to get that SAML token to the Security header of the next request. Problem is that the token is signed and any changes will invalidate the signature. All groovy scripts I've tried are adding tabs, new lines etc. I need to get this token exactly as it is. Can anyone help?
