Localization?

Hi.

Will it be possible, in the future, to localize ALMComplete in local language?

I think it could be useful and a good "pro" in any product/service compare.

A customer of mine has just choosen another product (Track+, from Germany) instead of AlmCompelte (and other english-only) tools, and the reason was the localization feature.

If you need I could help/collaborate in translating, if needed.

Regards!

  • Hi Sergio,

    Thanks for your offer :)

Our first step will be to become fully unicode compliant, which we are looking into with a major .net upgrade.

I'm not sure about full localization but will pass your request on to the team.

Thanks, we appreciate your input !

  • A memo for localization issues (when/if it arrives):

    • In Europe the first day of the week is Monday, not Sunday (for small calendars in date fields,...)

    • In Export feature, please take care of timestamps in generated csv

I think that this (date/time/numbers) must be defined on the client side somewhere in the user preferences area and regardless of the UI language.

    Just my 2 cents... :)
