You can save a Word document with comments and pins by following these steps:
Open the Document:
Open the Word document that contains the comments and pins you want to save.
Click on ‘File’:
Click on the File tab in the top left corner of the Word window.
Select ‘Save As’:
Choose the Save As option from the menu.
Choose Your Save Location:
Select the location where you want to save the document.
Click on ‘Tools’:
Click on the Tools button (usually located near the bottom of the Save As dialog).
Select ‘Save Options’:
In the Save Options, check the box for Print Markup. This ensures that comments and pins are included in the saved document.
Save Your Document:
Finally, click the Save button to save the document with comments and pins.
Additionally, if you want to share the comments and pins separately, you can follow these steps:Print a List of Comments and Track Changes: Go to File > Print in the Backstage view.
Ensure your printer is selected.
Choose List of Markup from the drop-down menu.
Click the Print button.
Bonus Section: Save a List of Comments and Track Changes as a Separate File:
Instead of printing, select Microsoft Print to PDF or Adobe PDF in the Printer menu (if available).
Choose List of Markup from the drop-down menu.
Click the Print button.
Name and save the PDF file.
Now you have both the complete document with comments and pins and a separate list of comments and changes. - joseph_michaudModerator
