How to commit only the changes in the review?

Initiated a review for my changes, and kept on working on the same file.  Once the review is completed and committed, it picked up the local changes which was not in the review.  How to avoid this?

Example : Added fileA  and fileB to the review, kept working on fileB and fileC...!   After review completed, I committed my changes,   the fileB had all the changes, including the ones not in the review.

How to commit only the changes in the review?

Thanks,

Sanju

    Hello Sanju,

If I correctly understand you, it depends on your SCM. You need to create a file copy and continue working with them. As for the mentioned example, after you have added files, you should create the local file copies and work with them. After the review completed, you need to commit the files that don't have your local changes.

In other case, you can download the files from the review and commit them.

Thanks Oleg.  Can I commit the files in the review from the Collaborator Server?   As this would avoid file management on the client.

        Hello Sanju,

Which one of the SCM systems do you use?
