DejaClick Best Practice: Upload Recording to Same Browser Monitor Type as You Recorded In
We are seeing an increase in Customer Care cases where transaction errors are caused by recording the transaction in i.e. Firefox and then when uploading, in the Upload Recording dialog box the browser type Chrome is selected (and vice versa).
It used to be that the same Deja XML would run without issue in either browser. This appears to be no longer the case with all sites/transactions.
If you want to monitor the transaction from a Chrome browser, please record the transaction in Chrome and when uploading, please select Google Chrome as the Browser type in the Upload Recording dialog box. If you want to monitor the transaction in Firefox, please record the transaction in Firefox and when uploading please select Mozilla Firefox as the browser type for the monitor in the Upload Recording dialog box.
