Soap UI- 5.1.2 - Open source - works very slow on mac machine ?

I have a lincense 4.5 pRO wokring on mac machine.

I wanted to explore soap ui 5.1.2 open source on my mac (not using license key)

I found soap ui 5.1.2 open source very slow on mac.clicking on any suite/case/step takes lot of time. Project takes lot of time to load.

Any reason how to improve the performamce?
