Excel access problem

Hi All,



We want to access an excel file from script, and we get unspecified error message.

MS Excel is not installed to the computer. Is the driver enough for accessing excel files or we have to install MS Office to access?

    you dont need to MS office to access excel files. if u r using DDT method of Testcomplete then make ACE Driver parameter as True







    if u r using *.xlsx files  then install msaccesspackage from the link



    then Tc reads data from .xlsx files

    And we can also use it for MS Access database access? I will try it.
