Zephyr for Jira - performance impact on Jira
Dear all, We are planning to use this plugin in our organisation where we already have jira v8.12.1 (data centre version) hosted on two application server nodes with MS-SQL 2016 as database. Our testers strength would be around 500 and we have 5000 licenses for jira. We are keen to understand how this plugin would impact the performance of jira. This ZFJ plugin would be used by our testing community in the organisation where jira already has 3500 users . We do not want this new usage of ZFJ bringing down the performance of jira which is currently stable in the organisation . Please help share your experience /inputs /recommendations/known constraints in ZFJ529Views0likes0CommentsUnable to start the Zbot on windows machine
Hi , I am trying to install the ZFJ-server zbot , but it seems to require the server authentication key , which i am not sure where i can find. I was hoping this installation will require the url for jira instance on which zephyr is installed, username and pwd to that url. But instead it is seeking the server authentication key which i am not sure where i can get. But i understand this must be related to the authentication for the agent to connect to zephyr. Can somebody throw some light on this please?1.5KViews0likes4Comments- 1KViews0likes0Comments
Re: Traceability report not including the epics
Hideitahoward.. Thank you , i have already raised this in the ideas portal. Regarding the backward traceability yes the coverage report shows you the linkage of defect to testcases , but it does not show the traceability of the defect all the way back to the userstory/epic.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsThe Zephyr for Jira traceability report does not show multiple levels in the requirements.
Version of Zephyr for Jira used :Zephyr for JIRA5.6.4 My requirement structure :Epics-User Stories Current behaviour: The current traceability report shows only one of these (Epic or user story) in the requirements column. But we have built this hierarchy and all the Zephyr tests are linked to user stories only. So when i choose epic in requirement , i dont see any traceability to tests. But when i choose user story i can see the tests, but i am missing the traceability of the user story to the epic , in the view Note : The advanced traceability that has multiple filters now allows us to choose both epics and stories under requirements, but however it is not hierarchical view Expectation:853Views0likes2CommentsTraceability report not including the epics
Hi It would be good if the traceability report shows the traceability from the epic till the defect. Currently it shows only from userstories in the tabular form. In our org we have the below structure BRD documents in confluence Epics User stories Test cases (linked to User stories) Defects (linked to test cases) So in the traceability report , we would like to see a table showing us right from epics all the way to the defects Also we dont seem to have the backward traceabilty report from Defect to requirement. Zephyr for Jira has this capability. Would be nice if we were to have that here. Also the traceability direction currently shows only two direction (coverage to testcase and test case to coverage) and the link tod efects is not very clear. The traceability tree feature which is beta now does not seem to be very helpful for our usercase.1.2KViews0likes4Comments
