Re: Perform some operations when Test is failed
You can check for Log.ErrCount property inside of the OnStopTestevent The OnLogError event is fired when Log.Error("...") occurs during a test. Check the documentation on events (overview): https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/reference/events/index.html and maybe how to handle events here: https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/advanced/handling-events/index.html41Views2likes0CommentsRe: TC 15.53/54 Slow down
Thanks for the warning. Do you have any new info on that? My colleague updated too and is currently running tests over night. We would also like to update tc on our other machines but i think we'll wait until there is more info.10 months agoPlace TestComplete QuestionsTestComplete Questions866Views1like0CommentsRe: To find element is present or not
I think WaitElement should be the right method for your case. It will return a stub object that has only the Exists attribute and its set to false by default. https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/reference/test-objects/members/page/waitelement-method-page-object.html If this still does return Exists == true then your object probably exists but is not visible. What you can try is to check for exists and if its true you need to verify that it is not visible. Or you have to specify your xpath so it will not find the element when its not visible.11 months agoPlace TestComplete QuestionsTestComplete Questions976Views1like1CommentRe: contextMenuStrip click based on caption or index
Just a wild guess so maybe not what you need: Try to activate Text Recognition by adding the WndClass of your contextMenuStrip2 then maybe restart testcomplete and try to record the click or inspect via object spy. Testcomplete should recognize the text of your menu as TextObject(...)
