Hi SmartBear, ReadyAPI v2.8 Pro. We have not succeed in getting Properties to work with AMQP plugin MQ configuration. The issue we see is with Properties: Cannot get project properties to work with AMQP plugin connection configuration. We create a project property called “ourProperty” and inserted ${#Project#ourProperty} as Host value in AMQP plugin connection configuration. When running AMQP step we get message “Unable to declare exchange due to the following error: Unable to create AMQP connection due to the following error: ${#Project#ourProperty } ${#Project#ourProperty}”. Could you please point to an example of Properties that work with plugin AMQP MQ connection configuration? Hej Rich, Your solution makes it possible to insert GUID’s in JSON. Thanks. Have a (minor?) extra challenge, need to insert the same GUID twice into the JSON message in step AMQP Publish. Not sure how to solve. Regards Keld5 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes1CommentRe: Connect to RabbitMQ from ReadyAPI/SoapUI Pro v2.8, with AMQP plugin. Cannot set vhost in SoapUI.
Hi SmartBear, After restart of ReadyAPI/SoapUI Pro v2.8, no update button is shown in Integrations for AMQP plugin (ver 1.0.0). Am expecting an update button as described in https://support.smartbear.com/readyapi/docs/integrations/managing.html. Hi SmartBear Community, Good to know that vhost is not supported in SoapUI for AMQP, yet. We will consider suggested solution. Hello Community Members, I am trying to connect to RabbitMQ from ReadyAPI/SoapUI Pro v2.8,usingAMQP plugin for SoapUI to send and receive messages for testing. Problem is that in SoapUI I cannot set vhost name that is send to RabbitMQ, when using AMQP test steps. It seems like default value “/” is used for vhost. Hence, AMQP exchanges in RabbitMQ located in other vhost’s are not found. Please tell if you know how to set vhost name in AMQP test steps in SoapUI. Hope for solution without use of JMS. Thanking you KeldSolved3.5KViews0likes9Comments
