REST API with parametters and without them
Hello .. is there any way.. how to define the single API path like: GET user/search with the request TEMPLATE parametters? but how to send hte request in TestCase without them??? Is there any way? In previous ReadyAPI versions was possible to create multiple GET methods under single path.. so I was defining the with filters GET method and then without them to send specific one in specifc test case.. to see whet the server will react. So is there any solution - as I am using ReadyAPI 3.4 and there is error.. I can not define multiple GET methods for single API path.. resource..281Views0likes0CommentsRe: JDBC responses including the table names - remove them
there is nothing. BTW: the script is not easy.. I have no idea, how to make it.. there is no helper.. how to modify the JDBC response.. I found it for requestFilter.afterRequest.. but it is not working.. Maybe there is no request object.. I have no idea.. Output: ReadyAPI is not good for DB combinations testing.. Once created tests.. are frosen.. incompatible.3 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: JDBC responses including the table names - remove them
1. I must create explicit list of patterns (table names to replace) 2. is not systematical solution. Is there no other way? So MySQL always will send me table names and ORACLE not? I can not remember now - how it was 10 years ago in Free SoapUI - but I was testing both DB using the same test cases usually every day.. no issue. Any sugesstions? Why it is behaving like this?3 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes2CommentsJDBC responses including the table names - remove them
I have a big project to test my app using MySQL.. now there in JDBC the table names with dot and column name in the response.. OK.. accepted.. whole project build based on this "unclear" behavior. NOW I must test the app using the ORACLE DB.. There JDBC step behives as usual. normally.. without the table names before the column name. Queston: I will fix the project in ReadyAPI - remove all the table names form all the assertions.. But I affraid, I can not return it normally when return testing back using MySQL. How to make MySQL working normaly? Like without the table names? Any idea? Using ReadyAPI 3.20 com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver Simple question: how to remove the table names from response when used the MySQL ??1.3KViews0likes7CommentsMQTT - how connect using environment specific URL
In my tests, I use project properties like host, port to connect to the app uder test.. Now is problem to do the same with MQTT.. I have on each environment differend port and host name.. HOW I can use per environment other connection? IOW: how I can use project properties? in connection URL definition? this is impossible. When the URL is in string.. without port number.. all works.. WHY???? common????? I can not set the port number? why???Solved919Views0likes2CommentsMQTT how make dinamic authentication - username and password each time other value?

BUT: How I can authenticate with my clientID and password? who was just now created? IOW: I must authenticate to MQTT but using non fixed values.. Can you provide me some ecample, how to achieve this? OR is some limit - so never will work by this way?Solved550Views0likes1CommentRe: start test case form event
