Re: Test Automation Through Jenkins
HeyTanyaYatskovska The issue I have is that when we integrate our Soapui pro XML into Git we include our LoadUI pro Tests as well. Then when we create the Jenkins Job to run that XML my concern is that it will run the LOADUI tests at the same time because our LoadUI license is attached to that server. So what I am looking for is a way to upload our tests but not have the Load Tests run in Jenkins. Is there a Command-line prompt that would allow us to do that or do we need to keep our Load Tests separate from Git?5 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: LOADUI Max VUs
HeyTanyaYatskovska I read the distribution Article and agree, but what I am asking is if I distribute tests am I limited to only 1000VU's overall the tests Distributed and Local or does each agent get 1000VU's? We are trying to hit a load testing metric and want to know if it is possible switching to distributed tests do we gain any VU's to help. Hello Community So currently we have a SOAPUI license and a Floating LOADUI License that is stored mainly on the Server with Jenkins. If we create tests for an API to be run in Jenkins, if Load tests are a part of those Automated tests and the job was to run would it run all SOAPUI and LOADUI tests? We don't really want to run Load tests as apart of our Daily/Weekly Automation. Any insight is appreciated as always C.1.6KViews0likes2CommentsLOADUI Max VUs
Hey Community I maybe not seeing it int he documentation. If I want to run a Load test using the Distribution agents does each Agent get 1000 VU's or is 1000 VU's are distributed across all agents? We are looking to hit some metrics and we don't know if 1000 Vu's is enough to hit the Metrics we want to see. Thanks in advance C PS. Is there a license that allows for more than 1000 vu's1.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Getting Content from an Email
Sorry for the Late Reply. So the Code we are looking to get Comes in a Generated Email sent to a predetermined inbox. We send a msg for a verification code from a third party and then that code is emailed to the predetermined inbox. we sort of figured that this may not verifiable through ReadyAPI but we figured we would ask the question. Hey Community I want to read a generated code in an email sent by one of the API's that we are currently testing in Ready API 3.0. Is there a way to take the content of the email so that we can extract the code to pass to another API Call? Any Help is Appreciated. Hello Community I am trying to add a script that will allow me to choose tomorrow's date into a data source property in SoapUI pro. The Call fails if we use a date int he past but we don't want to continue to have to update the tests before each run. Any help would be great. I was able to enter the data using the grid function. While listing the properties needed for the API calls. this looks like what would need to be done. I have been trying to not use Excel sheets as they would need to be loaded into Git. It is time-consuming but until there is another way this should be satisfactory. Thanks for your weigh-in. I assumed that would be the case but the Country is greyed out so I figured there could be a config that would allow me to change the country of origin. But yes an Excel Spreadsheet will work. Thanks5 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes0Comments
