Re: KeywordTests script does not display Checked-In symbol after I check-in my script
Hello Marsha_R, I followed the steps and remove a script and add a same script from the server. But I still cannot see checked-in symbol. I am going to contact Customer Support team to resolve this issue. Thanks for all your help. Thanks for your reply Marsha_R. But I am still unclear with your comments. In my situation I have same version of scripts on my local machine and server. I can directly modify the script using TestComplete application but it does not allow me to check-out or check-in my script. After I update a script in TestComplete the only way I can check-in is through VS TFS. I will have to further investigate the root cause. I am currently working on Mobile automation project and I have created few KeywordTests scripts using TestComplete version 12.5. Some of them uses Data Driven Loop in it which uses test data excel spreadsheet. Yesterday afternoon I removed this spreadsheet from my local machine and copy it over to the server. Also, I updated the scripts which uses data driven loop process so that it points to new server location path. But now all the scripts which I have modified does not display little green color 'Checked-In' symbol next to it. I cannot check-out or check-in any of my modified scripts. Does anyone know what is the reason why some of the scripts does not display little green color checked-in symbol in TestComplete? Hi Alex, After I copy both Android and iOS files on to the server where all my co-workers have access. Now everyone in my team can run the mobile scripts from their local machine. Thanks HK1.4KViews1like0CommentsIn the Mobile project - is there a way to copy *.apk or *.ipa files on to some central location?
Hello, In our company's mobile project suite there are 2 projects (i.e. Android and iOS). Each of my app package files are stored under my local machine directory. As long as I create a new script and run it from my local machine everything works fine. But if I ask my co-worker to run mobile scripts it fails with an error message: 'Unable to install an Android application package.' because the Android and iOS application package files path are different. So the temporary solution is to check-out and check-In TestedApps files on to each of my co-worker's machine. My question is how do I copy *.apk or *.ipa files on to some central location path so that all my co-workers can also test and verify the scripts? Is it a good practice to copy these app files on to your local machine? Is there any other suggestion so everyone in my team can access these app files (*.apk or *.ipa) from a central location? Hello, On an iOS device version # 11.3.1. Using a KeywordTest I am trying toclick a buttonwhich is not visible on screen so I have to scroll up and then click on a button. When I try to run my script it fails with an error message: "'Failed to set the vertical position of the scroll view to 92.5. 43 was set enabled" Looking at the Additional Info tab under Test Log page, I see a message: Minimum: 0 Maximum: 43.5. Does the above min and max numbers means I cannot click any object greater than 43.5? If yes, than is there another way to click on the button?
