Re: Property transfer from an html response
Yes, you should be able to. I'm able to using ReadyAPI 3.0.0 and its SoapUI Pro module. It's my limited understanding that, in the background, SoapUI makes available HTML content in a useable form of XML I briefly tried to locate the Smartbear website where it lightly mentions this. I hope this helps and someone is able to descriibe SoapUI Pro's treatment of HTML in more detail.750Views0likes0CommentsRe: Clone Test Step into Multiple Test Cases Using Groovy

Interesting. I don’t have admin rights on my work PC. Do you think’s necessary? I can’t get admin rights until I acquire a Microsoft Certificate of some sort. It’s aggravating. Sigh. Anyway, I’ll attempt this on Monday.5 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions4KViews0likes3CommentsClone Test Step into Multiple Test Cases Using Groovy
I have a Test Step that I need to clone into all the Test Cases I have within all the Test Suites. Would the following script work when ran against each Test Suite individually: def slaveTestStep = testRunner.testCase.testSuite.project.getTestSuiteByName("Test Suite").getTestCaseByName("Name") testRunner.testCase.testSuite.project.getTestSuiteByName("Test Suite").get TestCaseByName("Name").cloneTestStepByName(slaveTestStep,"NewName") Tags (0) Add tags2.7KViews0likes8CommentsRe: Need a Feature to Clone a Test Step to Multiple Target Test Cases
This would be nice. In the meantime, have you created a groovy script to do this? I found the following for cloning a test case into multiple test suites and I think all I need to do is add the test step portion (getTestStepByName ??) to complete it. def slaveTestCase = testRunner.testCase.testSuite.project.getTestSuiteByName("Test Suite").getTestCaseByName("Name") testRunner.testCase.testSuite.project.getTestSuiteByName("Test Suite").cloneTestCase(slaveTestCase,"NewName") Relate links I found: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Pro/Is-there-a-way-to-clone-the-test-steps-to-other-test-case/m-p/125481 https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Open-Source/Clone-Existing-Test-Case-Via-Groovy-Script/td-p/432461.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: No Community Help with SAML 2 Config Posts. Can some provide an example of SAML(XML) 2 in SoapUI?
Okay. The SAML configuration tools presented in "Outgoing WS-Security Configurations" seems to have sent me into the wrong direction when dealing with an environment using PKI certificates and SAML in its authentication. I abandoned the use of the SAML recreation tools and effort after being informed that it shouldn't be necessary to get and utilize a tokenID for our environment. My tests are able to authenticate now, so I'm off and running. This begs the question, and maybe I just didn't key in on it when I read about it, but what is the purpose of the SAML assertion recreation tools within "Outgoing WS-Security Configurations"? Is their purpose to create a test tokenID on the fly just like an authentication service would do?5 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions3.7KViews0likes1Comment
