Re: Warnings "since there is no valid repository"
Hi, I believe this topic has already been solved. Please find the link below and go to the solution. https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Pro/Disable-TEST-STEP-RUN-HISTORY/td-p/110653 If this has not helped, please comment with your outcome and we will try to solve it Thanks6 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space error?
I've seen this error before, I used to get this error while dealing with data-driven tests that required a lot of test data from an oracle DB in a short space of time. What's the size of your XML file please? if it's over 20mb, I'd recommend splitting it into two and run the tests seperately. This was the case in free soapUI version. What SoapUI version are you using?6 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions4.9KViews0likes8CommentsRe: Is this usage scenario supported in ReadyAPI?
Hi, As far as I know, there is something called a "composite project" option within ReadyAPI. This allows you to run small tests within integration test suites, it also benefits the team by team sharing. Please find the link below to read up more on this. https://www.soapui.org/soapui-projects/team-testing-support.html Is this what you was looking for? Apologies if I've misunderstood your query Thanks6 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.7KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Fetch column value from the Excel - DataSource
Hi, As you are using SoapUI Pro, right click on your test case and then click on DataSource. This will open a new UI, click on + and give that data source a name i.e excelSheetOne. This will result in you seeing a dropdown, by default "Excel" is selected, then choose your excel file by clicking on browse. Select the values you want and store them in custom property. Now, to use those values in your test step, you call those values by ${#excelSheetOne#customValue} Cheers6 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.1KViews1like1CommentRe: Setting Up a VIRT to Test ESB Transformation
Hi Richie! My starting point (after reading docs) was to import WSDL or WADL into ServiceV first. Once imported successfully, the application will create the mock/virtual service and auto-generate API response for you. You will then customise that response to your needs and configure end-points to hit when you call the service. You can data-drive your responses, select your dispatch style (prefer script) but if you are starting new, then play around with sequence/random/xPathetc to get comfortable. I hope it helped. I have done some significantwork on virtualisation/mocking so if you get stuck anywhere, create a post and we can provide all the support you need! Hi, You can store the value in custom property in the testCase/testSuite/project. Say you create a new custom property at a test case level and call it "resourceParam" - Store "123456" as value. Use the below line to call it in your request to call the value. ${#TestCase#resourceParam} Thanks6 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews1like1Comment
