TestComplete Support for Edge
I am preparing edge environment for TestComplete Tests. I am going through the documentation https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/general/preparing-browsers/edge.html#install-smartbear-test-extension I am stucked with the first step - SmartBear Test Extension, I am not able to find this extension in edge browser. I am using edge version - 1041.2KViews0likes10CommentsRe: Error: There was an attempt to perform an action on a zero-sized window.
Marsha_R I was going through the statements mentioned in the above link . If there is a problem with a new version of Firefox, some people may want to downgrade Firefox to a previous version but we do not recommend this. The latest Firefox version includes security updates so downgrading to an older version leaves you more vulnerable to attacks and usually doesn't fix the problem. This article gives you some alternatives to downgrading and links to older versions of Firefox if you do choose to downgrade.687Views0likes1CommentRe: Error: There was an attempt to perform an action on a zero-sized window.
rraghvani Thanks for the updates. See when we update the firefox it get updated to the latest version. We do it manually. We do not have choice to select the version 99 and and 100 when updating the firefox .700Views0likes3CommentsError: There was an attempt to perform an action on a zero-sized window.
We are running one of our tests and the test show the error -Error: There was an attempt to perform an action on a zero-sized window. I have attached the screenshot of the file. We have never come up with the solution for this. The issue usually happens whenever new browser version coming up. We do not upgrade the version as the Smartbear do not release the patch in timely manner. if we do so then our other tests fails as TestComplete do not support the latest version of browser. Now we are blocked. . I upgraded the firefox version to 102 due to the above error I am getting. But later I realize that TestComplete do not support that firefox version 102. We have been waiting since Monday but yes customer care replied that the developer are working on it. But it does not make any sense to stop the tests while waiting for the patch. Either we need to come up with the solution(if anyone can provide the solution) or Smartbear should provide the solution in timely manner. Thanks Nishchal720Views0likes5Comments
