Re: how to create a groovy script
actually just found the answer to my question. I had to create a test case and there is a link on the test case editor to create a groovy script. I am now stymied by the step "Now let's setup SoapUI to load up your Groovy library. Set File > Preferences > SoapUI tab > Script Library." There is no soap UI tab on the preferences page in 5.2.1.4.1KViews0likes7Commentsmissing dependancies building soapUI from source on git
Some of the dependancies are not being resolved when I try to build the source downloaded from git using maven. I am tracking some of the down myself, but noticed that some appear to not be open source ( saxon ). Any help or guidance would be appreciated. A related question, If a plugin is developed for the OpenSource version, can it easily be used for the licensed version? We generally used the open source version for the developers desk, and a licensed copy for acceptance testing.2.1KViews0likes8Comments- 9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions5KViews0likes0Comments
Re: Hermes alternative for JMS testing
Thank you both for the quick response. The problem is I have to insure the application is supportable, likely not to have a problem is not good enough for the customer. I did locate the source for Hermes. I has a dependancy on JIDE that I was not expecting and I need to resolve any licensing issues. How did SoapUI address that. As a plan B, how difficult do you think it would be to code a Hermes substitute for just one JMS provider. We only need to support ActiveMQ. Is there any documentation available on the interface needed to implement a Hermes 'Substitute".9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions5KViews0likes2Comments
