YkiThank you for the help pointing out where to add my slmAccessKey, with this info and adding some new repository urls to our artifactory (so that our jenkins could actually download 3.46.0) I got everything working Best Regards /N11 months agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions435Views1like0CommentsReadyAPI maven plugin configuration regarding the <slm> parameters
Found documentation herehttps://support.smartbear.com/readyapi/docs/integrations/maven/index.html?sbsearch=%20ReadyAPI%20Maven%20Plugin where it states: You may provide your credentials by either enclosing them within the<slmAccessKey>Access_Key</slmAccessKey>tag, or by using the<slmUsername>Username</slmUsername>and<slmPassword>Password</slmPassword>tags. The problem here is that i have no clue where in my pom.xml file where these should be added and the example pom.xml file have not been updated so that one gives no hint either. Do anyone know where to include these tags in the pom.xml file? The one major issue i have with smart assist is the idea that writing a text trying to inform the user that data will be lost if you swap between the two types is just to me proof that this feature should never have been released in its current state If it atleast would have been an annoying pop up confirm dialog so you are forced to read that your work will be deleted would be better and then can select cancel/continue Smart insert simply needs to be split into two asserts one for each tab unless it can be changed so that you can effortless move between the two types without losing data3 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.7KViews3likes6Commentsdefault install path for 3.8.1 is C:\Users\myUserName\AppData\Local\Programs... ????
So was kind of susprised today when i was going to upgrade readyAPI from 3.8.0 to 3.8.1 when installer suggested this as default pathC:\Users\myUserName\AppData\Local\Programs\SmartBear\ReadyAPI-3.8.1 and if i changed to C:\Program Files\SmartBear\ReadyAPY-3.8.1 it says "You have no write permissions for the directory" Have you made changes to installer / paths or anything. I think i have never ever been suggested by a installer program to install to AppData\Local before. Need to know if its you or if i should go ask our local it support Has anyone else who have installed 3.8.1 run into similar issues? So with 3.6 came some UI changes and sometimes i just wonder how people think when changing something. Now after the changes this assertion tab takes up about 25-30% of the of the application space and where i normally have one or two assertions likeSLA and HTTP STATUS means 80% of the allocated assertion tab space is always empty This means that 20% of my screen is just empty space and there is no fast like double click to minimize or a button to minimize this so instead i have to over and over again drag the tab to minimize the view so that i can actually see the request and/or payload where 90% of my work is done. Is it just me that have issues with this or does everyone else love this change?
